Code Website

I am designing a website (in Japanese) and need help with some jQuery animations and WordPress. I have used jQuery in building websites before, but I am new to WordPress. Your task will be to help me with some technical aspects, writing a few jQuery scripts and helping me with integrating a WordPress blog into the website. I would also like to build a fluid design, which responds well to different browser window sizes, so you should be well-versed in CSS. I would like to understand the code you write, so I can use it and edit it by myself and would like you to devote some time to explaining your code to me, for example with commented code or per email exchange. Here is a rough design outline. The website is about cooking and all pages will contain full-page background photos, a navigation bar and featured items in the margin with the main content in the middle. Apart from the blog, the content will only fill roughly 3 A4 pages at first. I would like content to slide to the side on demand (here would be a jQuery animation) in order to reveal the background picture. Integrating the WordPress blog into the design is the other half of the job. The project should be finished within 4 weeks, and it will probably take that long to get all the resources together and finalize the design. Therefore you should be available during the next few weeks, although your total input will not exceed a few days of full-time work (and if it does I will pay you accordingly, of course).
