We want to create a Priceline name your price type name your price engine for peer to peer selling and buying of goods. I.e. A buyer specifies what they want to buy and at what price and is automatically matched with a seller who is willing to sell at that price and the transaction is completed. We have designed a matching algorithm that will be the heart of this product. Need a great developer and designer.
CONCEPT OVERVIEW
-Primary function of the system is to act as a service provider between the retailers and consumers, as well as private individual sellers to consumers
-Accessible through the online web portal and a mobile application for both Android and iOS playrooms
-Systems allows both the buyers and sellers to list their products on the website for sale in a format that allows buyers to go online to browse and purchase product, while also the ability to submit a "Willing to Pay" price on specific items
-The buyers product request will be sent to all the registered sellers who have the same product in stock or inventory. The sellers can either agree to sell the product in question for requested price or submit a counter offer to the requester
- Buyers and Sellers can easily communicate through the online portal via custom build notifications and messaging interface, as well as email notifications. These channels of communication will be used for deal requests, user to user communication, as well as system Notifications and reminders
-registration is required for both buyers and sellers to access the user portal. Unregistered users will be able to browse the website, view available listings; however, will not be able to submit a "Willing to Pay" request to the community
SYSTEM OVERVIEW
-Newco requires a Minimum Viable Product (MVP) to present to investors to show the concept's functionality and core value proposition/differentiation to existing playrooms in the market today.
-The initial MVP will also be used potentially as a Beta version for local retailers and consumers to obtain interest/participation, as well as test the functionality and viability of the platform.
-The MVP will be created for demonstration purposes of the core functionality of the Newco system.
-The MVP will contain a simple database backend portal where the transactional data will be stored and updated as part of the users interaction.
-The MVP website should be created in a way to support both users accessing the site using a computer as well as a mobile device or tablet.
-The potential go to market strategy is to have a soft launch to allow buyers and sellers to register their existing eBay name and the ability to carry their readings over. For power sellers and serious eBay users, the chance to secure their ID early will be a great incentive.
