I need to be able to look at a JPG image and determine if it has a barcode on it and what that value is.

This page will be blank except for the barcode.

The barcode CAN be placed in a fixed position on the sheet.

(of course if the image is scanned slightly crooked then it will be in a slightly different place/angle).

I can buy a 3rd party ocx, but only a cheap one,

and i would rather not.

It can be an ocx, dll, vb6...it does not matter as long as you tell me how to access it from vb6.
