Apointment Management System

We are looking to create a scheduling management system for naill salons. The system allows the employees to take appointments over the phone and receive a appointments online. Our website will be a hub for many nail salons. This project consists of many nail salons and the need to maintain a database for their customers and their appointments. The software must be easily expandable, if we choose to service more clients we should be able to open a new database for them and add them to the list of clients at our website. This project demands the creation of a software that will be placed in the nail salons. We will call this the HUB, we will also need to create a website to handle all the online appointments, we would also require a website to allow for a connection between the hub and customers. It should be a simple website, the customer is greeted with a simple list (drop down menu) where she chooses the nail salon she would like to make an appointment with. The salons shall be categorised by city, street and mall in Abu Dhabi and Dubai. After choosing the salon, the user is redirected to the weekly schedule for that specific salon, the user can click different time slots to see which employee is available to take that appointment. Its not decided which would be easier to either put the names of whom is available or just time slots to book the service they would like (pedi, mani, waxing, massage..etc.. We will need to make it accessible to the naill salon owner to change slots or keep slots free which will not be shown to the client on the website. Therefore the owner can be flexible in keeping slots for important last minute customers. First time visitors will be asked to make an account with a username and password, their username will be their email addresses, this will allow me to create a database with all the clients as well as keep a record of the client, the website will have an option to save the users information such as last visit and time and if they would like the same servicw. All the user needs to do to make an appointment is enter their name and mobile number. The appointment is then sent back to the salon HUB where the receptionist is notified that an online appointment has been made, a reminder can then be given to the receptionist to confirm the appointment. There should be an option where appointments are canceled automatically if client does not show up within 10 mins of their scheduled appointment. HUB : The hub should be a simple program that has a time table. The program should have similar look and feel as to kappix.com. We should be able to add appointments for each timeslot and we should be able to receive notifications from updates on the website such as appointments made. The user should be greeted with a simple calendar where they choose a day and they will then see all the employees (color coded) for that day and what appointments they have we should be able to add and delete appointments as well as receive them online. Another view we have is upcoming appointments, it shows all the appointments coming up in the next 48 hours, this gives the receptions a good compilation of customers to confirm appointments with. Another view of the program is the database; here we have a complete database of customers and their phone numbers and emails.
