I have a MSaccess database which requires conversion to VB or SQL (I'm not sure which probably both). I have looked at several programs that claim to convert 'automatically' but I am sceptical. I would like to know what the typical costs are for conversion, the database has approximately:-
140 Forms, 40 Tables, 140 Queries and 120 Reports (including subreports).
The application provides the user with a networked facility which handles, Project Management, CRM, Purchase Orders, Goods In, Delivery notes, Picking lists, Quotations, Supplier and Product Maintenance, Sales Performance, Financial Controller (very basic) including credit control, account payment requests, payment reminders. Maintenance and Service log and a whole variety of reports.
I want to convert so that the application is wrapped securely in a .exe file for general distribution, and I would like to be able to change the GUI appearance by simple replacement of Jpegs and icons for personalised applications for clients.
Please provide you most competitive quotation, the MSAccess 2003 application is fairly comprehensive and does the job perfectly, only problem is to distribute wider I am relying on purchasers to have a copy of MSAccess 2003 also...not 2002 or 2000 as they do not have the activeX objects included... regards NVH
