Daily Picture Gallery Rotation

I am wanting to setup a website that has a daily set of pictures rotate and change. The pictures will be FTPed into a content folder on the server with the orginal file names. The program should take the first set of pictures, let's say the first 10 and create a thumbnail of that picture then link that picture to an html page with the full size picture centered. The program should work on a template design and I should be able to have the thumbnails show up anywhere on the main page by changing the placement of their call-to code on the template. The html page with the full sized picture should also be a template and should be out putted as a .shtml page so I can place a banner rotation program I have on the top or bottom of that page. I should be able to set a time frame in which the program rotates the pictures and pulls the next 10 pictures from the content folder and repeates this process. When the end of the pictures is reached in the content folder the program should restart from the begining and continue the process until I stop it. I would like to use the program on several sites and it should be able to handle this as well with just the change of the folder name and or call-to code on the template. For example site number one would have the folder siteacontent and the call-to code on the template would be THUMB1. Site 2 would have sitebcontent for the folder and THUMB2 for the call-to code on the template. The program and picture will all be called from a main site to make it easier to control. This can be written in what ever you wish. I have a server with Red Hat Linux and MySQL. I just need to be able to use it and not have to fight to get things changed. Make it user friendly. It came with the TGP program I purchased and the company that wrote it is no longer in business. I want a separate centeralized program running on one site with the pictures loaded on one site. Then I can place the call-to code on the template page of the different sites. The current template has 10 %THUMBNAIL1% and the next page or site would call %THUMBNAIL2%.
