We are using the Amember membership script to run a membership-based website. The concept of the website is a member's only "link exchange" program. More specifically, it is a blog comment exchange. The members will post comments on each other's blogs. ## Deliverables Full Description: TITLE: Create custom link exchange script, and integrate with Amember based website. ? This job will require good PHP and MySQL skills. Additionally, knowledge of the Amember script would be very helpful. ? We are using the Amember membership script to run a membership-based website. The concept of the website is a member's only "link exchange" program. More specifically, it is a blog comment exchange. The members will post comments on each other's blogs. ? We need a coder to create the link exchange script, and integrate it into the Amember database (MySQL). ? Additionally, the coder will create a web page for the member area, which the members will use to interface with the link exchange. We will provide a mock-up of the page, to show exactly how we want it to look, and what functions we want it to perform. ? We will provide coder with access to our Amember installation, MySQL database, and FTP for the website. The website is not yet in use. Therefore the coder can work and test everything directly on our site. ? The comment exchange will have two sides to it: ? 1) Getting comments 2) Giving comments ? In order to get comments, the member will input a URL via the interface page. This URL will be saved in their profile and in the database (a new table may need to be added to the existing Amember database). ? In order to give comments, members will click a link on the interface page which will take them to a URL belonging to another member. ? The script will use a "credit" system to keep track of how many comments a member has made. For each comment they make, they earn one credit. For each credit, a comment will be made on their own blog by another member. ? We will provide further information and illustrations to the coder that we select. ?
