An Cattle registry is looking for a suite of software to handle memberhip functions, animal registrations and show entries and results. Although we would like this to be "online" it does not have to be. However, we would like a web component to for several search. ## Deliverables Looking for an administrative data base to handle a registry an animal.? NO TWO ANIMALS CAN HAVE THE SAME NUMBER. * Type of registration (needs to be a separate table) * Breed (needs to be a separate table) * Color (needs to be a separate table) * Color Pattern (needs to be a separate table) * Sex * Certified Frame Score * Certified Height * Dam (Mother) * Registration Number (pulled for database) * Sire (Dad) * Registration Number (pulled for database) * Breeder Information (pulled from Membership List) * Current Owner Information (pulled from Membership List) * Several Custom fields for later use * Search: All Criteria * Reports: * Registration Certificate: we will provide a PDF/Word file that would need to completed and printed * Pedigreed Reports * Show History (to be pulled from show information) ? Show information:? (Show Office) This part will have several components, Show Information, Registration Information and Result Information. ? Individual Show Information: * Name * Location * Division ??" Will need to be built this for each show.? It would be nice to copy a similar show and change the needed fields * Classes * Comments ? Show Registration: Members or Admin would enter animals with the needed information * Class * Animal Registration Number.? This entry would pull information from the animal tables to complete…Owner, Breeder, DOB, Certified Frame Score and Height. * Reports * Show List sorted by Class, DOB, Owner. We will provide a sample at a later date., But a basic grid type report. ? Show Results: * Each class will have “placings??; therefore each animal in each class will be given a number, first place winner will receive 1, second place = 2, etc. * An additional designation of Grand Champion, Reserve Grand Champion, Best of Show will also be given to EACH DIVISION.? These are more important that the “class?? placings. Example, within the Junior Bull Division, you may have 5 different age clases (classes-10,11,12,13,14)? Each class will have a 1place, 2nd place, 3rd place etc.? Once the winners in each division are selected, a Grand Champion and Reserve Grand is determined from the 1st place and 2nd place animals from each class. Finally you will have a Junior Bull Division Grand Champion and a Senior Bull Grand Champion and a Best of Show is picked from those animals. ? In short any one animal can have as many as three results from each show.? Class Winner, Grand Champion and Best of Show. ? The show results will need to be linked to each owner and animal.
