Add affiliate program, lead program and discount module to existing website

Current website is [[login to view URL]][1] - customers purchase legal forms online.? ? I would like to enhance the site to include 3 new features. 1.? Multi-level affiliate program to pay commissions for referrals 2.? Lead module so that order and registration information can be sold to a third party. 3.? Discount module so that coupons and gift certificates can be accepted. ## Deliverables [login to view URL] enhancement requirements ? Purpose:? To provide a way for affiliates to link to our site and receive commissions for referred sales AND to provide a way to sell leads to attorneys AND to allow for discounts/credits toward purchases. ? 1. Create an affiliate and lead system that attorneys or other agents can use to refer customers to the site. Track in a database the price paid for each form purchased.? Associate the customer with the attorney/affiliate for the initial and any subsequent sales (even if the customer just goes directly to [login to view URL] on subsequent visits).? ? There will be 2 different types of affiliates.? ? #1 ??" Regular affiliate that receives a percentage of revenue received.? ? ? #2 ??" Attorney affiliate that refers customers so we can capture their contact info (the attorney will probably not receive commission checks, but will pay for our service of capturing the leads). 2. Allow affiliates the ability to create a coupon code to offer % discounts (up to a 100% discount) or could also be a $ amount (if it is a $ amount, the total cost of the purchase must never be lower than $0).? When a coupon code is used, the associated affiliate will receive credit for the sale.? Coupon codes must be unique (2 affiliates cannot use the same coupon code).? 3. Just some background info:? Some affiliates will be attorneys that just want leads from the FlyForms site, so they may give prospective clients a 100% discount coupon in the hopes that the user will become a paying customer in the future.? We want to capture the names & phone numbers of these prospective clients and return that info to the attorney. 4. Need the ability to charge the attorney-affiliate a flat monthly rate plus a per-registration fee plus a per-application fee plus lead fees plus a percentage fee (to cover credit card costs).? For example, an attorney affiliate might pay $29 per month plus $1 per registration plus $3 per form generated plus $10 per lead plus $20 per form lead plus 3% of sales (any of these rates could be positive numbers, zero or negative).? Another example would be a regular affiliate that has no fees, but receives a 30% commission for any sales.? Defaults for these values should be maintainable and should be able to be overridden on an affiliate by affiliate basis (ie. If we have a superstar affiliate, we may want to waive his monthly fee or lower his per-form cost).? See requirement #4 for related info. 5. ? Need to be able to generate a weekly or monthly report to calculate commissions due (or owed).? ? The affiliate program should allow multiple tiers.? ? If an affiliate refers another affiliate, they get a % of revenue generated by that affiliate.? ? The % may vary from tier to tier.? ? For example: 1. Affiliate 1 finds customer, gets 30% commission. 2. Affiliate 1 finds affiliate 2 that finds customer. Affiliate 1 gets 10% commission, Affiliate 2 gets a 30% commission 3. Affiliate 1 finds affiliate 2 that finds affiliate 3 that finds customer.? Affiliate 1 gets 5% commission, Affiliate 2 gets 10%, Affilate 3 gets 5% 4. An so on.? We probably won’t go more than 5 levels deep, but allow for at least 10 levels (just in case).? Any level could be 0% or $0.? Allow for a % or $ amount commission or a combination of $ and %. 2. Need a way to collect affiliate credit card info in case they do not meet the monthly minimum.? Many affiliates may be law firms or lawyers, so maybe the attorney registration process could collect this extra info.? For regular affiliates, need a place to store “tax ID?? and “pay to?? name & address.? Also need the ability for the affiliate to select a special code that identifies them (affiliate ID). 3. When affiliate logs in the site, need to show them statistics on new customer registrations and associated purchases that were made along with an estimated commission payment that will be made (for attorneys that are purchasing leads, this amount will be negative ??" ie. A bill rather than a commission).? The affiliate/attorney also needs to be able to see detailed contact info for the customer that registered or made a purchase (ie. Name, address, phone & document purchased).? ? Also, don’t forget to calculate the override commissions on purchases from the lower level tiers.? 4. Also, after the attorney or affiliate logs in, need to be able to provide them with sample link code that they can use to refer customers. Links from affiliates should be something like [[login to view URL]][2] (where “abc123?? is the affiliate ID).? They should be able to copy the complete HTML code that they can use to paste in their website.? ? This should not be an option for regular users ??" only for attorneys/affiliates. 5. Need a way for the system to automatically assign a customer to an attorney that wants the leads (auto assign by state and/or zip code range and/or telephone area codes).? For example, Flyforms advertises and a customer in California creates a Will. ? This customer did not come from an attorney/affiliate site, so he has no coupon or associated affiliate ID.? We would want to automatically assign the customer to the closest attorney affiliate in that area. 6. Need a gift certificate module.? Similar to the coupon codes, but this would only allow usage until the value is exhausted.? Customers must be able to purchase the gift certificate and then immediately receive the gift certificate code on a web display and via email.? The gift code can then be used to purchase forms (or apply the value toward the purchase of a form).
