Communications Application

Hi,

I'm trying to develop a system (which have objects), to do the follow:

- Each object should be a separate application.

- We need a database which will keep track of all objects details

- All objects should be capable of communication between them.

- All objects should give details about their evolutions to a "master", that will log all their activities.

- All objects should put modifications of their activities to the database, and should be capable of querying the database related to their current status.

- In certain situations an object get make modifications to it, or other object.

- The limits for objects should be over over 32000.

- You can use any solution you like for developing (but i prefer to be Linux, MySQL, C++)

- The application doesn't have a budget yet, you have to estimate the time for develop and the sum (so please ignore the budget).

EXAMPLE:

You have a number of objects that know their current space location, dimension and direction, but doesn't know the other ones. But all of them inform a central database of their locations. So if an object query the central database what objects are near them, they will find out.

If two objects are in the same locations, they will communicate directly and each one will take the decision related to next space locations, dimension and direction.

It isn't the same logic to all objects, so when communicate they will negotiate based on a standard function of what to do next.
