I need to test out this IIS boot strapper:
So basically, you will make a windows installer that will include everything needed to deploy the test site, test silverlight app, and iis onto the host computer.
This project designed to allow me to test out the bootstrapper by having your make the test "hello world" example for me to review.
Here is the essence of the project:
> Using Visual Studio:
> Create a new MVC 3.0 web application (leave empty)
> Create a new Silverlight 4.0 application
> Embed the Silverlight app into the mvc default page as "Hello World, I am silverligh"
> Then add a windows installer project
> Then configure the installer to install the web, silverlight
> Then configure it to check for the IIS bootstrapper. If there isn't a copy installed, then have the installer install the bootstrapper IIS.
> Then configure the installer to host the web application on the IIS bootstrapper version.
Project is DONE.
Let me know if you have questions, but it is as straight forward as it sounds...
