I am looking for a Linux admin/developer that is familure with Amazon's S3 Service and EC2 Service. The developer will be testing on his/her S3 service unless they work live on my server.
The goal for this project is to create a PHP Object or linux command line binaries to checkin files to/from an S3 bucket.
Currently I have a large application that takes an ID number, converts it to a local path (for example /Files/05/23/[url removed, login to view]) and sends it. We want to
a) have a command line or php object to copy a new file to the S3 Bucket
b) have a command line or php object to check if an object exists.
c) .. download locally and cache an object.
Basically, the amount of data is far too large now for one server and we wish to move the servers around. Part two of the project will be using Amazon EC2.
a) The task will be to Launch and EC2 server
b) Update [url removed, login to view] with the new ip
c) Copy (scp) the small php application to the ec2 server
d) A small command line tool to list running servers and a small tool to remove a server (and unregister it with the dyndns server)
Please give me some indication you understand what I'm asking otherwise please do not bid. Please no generic bids unless you really understand.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
