Add features to Joomla Component

I had a developer create a component for Joomla 1.5 about 6 months ago. The component works like this: The business is a boat dock. People who wish to dock their boat at the clients harbor can register all of their data such as name, email, boat type, length of dockage etc. All data goes into a database. The admin has the ability in the back-end to modify this data also. Once all of the necessary data is in the users profile, a "contract" can be generated. What this does is take the data from the database and insert it into a PDF document which can then be emailed or printed. The client generates a contract yearly for each boat owner. All of this is already in place and functioning beautifully. Now the client wants an additional contract for winter storage of the boats. So, we need to pull existing data from the database and place it in a PDF, just like the other developer did. The new PDF has roughly 25 fields of data. So whatever my previous coder did, I will need duplicated for this additional PDF. Once you get into the system and see how it works it makes sense and is rather easy. Please, experts only...I need someone reliable that takes their time and does things correctly.
