Building Google Maps based, CMS, JAVA, social site

I’m looking for experienced Java Web developer(s) to take over and continue with building our Java servlet / MySQL based application. There will be several bundles of changes to implement as the fixed bids. I’m expecting that the person will be able not only to code but also will be capable to design technical aspects (technical design, not UI look & feel design) and willing to creatively propose ideas for improvement of the site’s performance, functionality etc. I need a person(s) fully or at least significantly available for this project to have it done quickly, therefore do not bid please if your availability is significantly limited and you have to share your time with other projects. I prefer that you have an excellent portfolio and direct examples of your work with Google Maps, AJAX, JavaScript. Experience in creating own or deep customizing standard CMS is also welcome. After reviewing your portfolio I will get in touch with selected providers and give them a few additional questions to check their profile. Those with appropriate skills will be given with the Requirements Specification and will need to estimate duration and price for a project releases. Based on this outcome I will select a final provider. Payment will be made once all deliverables are met, installed and tested. Transactions will be secured with Escrow payments in advance. In your bid you do not have to provide a final price now (this will be required later – for the time being please use your hourly rate) but you have to provide an evidence (with links to sites you have created) of your proficiency in Google Maps, CMS, Java – please do not provide your whole portfolio, just this what is relevant to my requirements.
