Hi Freelancers,
I have a custom built CMS which powers numerous front end websites.
I need a few amends to the codebase to enable some new functions.
1. At the moment it has a "[login to view URL]" which basically is the template that is used for all pages (not assigned to a module - I will explain this later but it's not important for this task). I want a way to be able to select a different template (so this would be done on the modal for adding/editing a page in the CMS). We would simply add another template, lets say [login to view URL] to the templates folder and then on the modal a simple drop down selector to specify which template to use for each page.
2. The navigational structure of the front end is derived solely from the "Pages module" in the CMS. The "Pages module" is basically used to create pages, these pages can be easily created and selected to form a part of the main navigation or not. Currently this is the only way to create the navigational structure.
There are other modules in the CMS (blog, portfolio, services) which can create multiple module pages (within the module itself), the module can then be assigned to a single page to form an entire section for that module. So if we say assigned the services module to the services page the services page would then no longer be a single page but an entire services module (endless numbers of services and service categories can now be created).
However there is currently no method to be able to add these service module pages / categories into the main navigation. I want the option to be able to set the module so that maybe the categories from the services module form part of the navigation, and that the services themselves might form part of the navigation (this should be achieved with a checkbox so that it is optional)...
So the navigational structure might take on a format such as:
• Home
• About Us
• Services
• Service Category 1
• Service 1
• Service 2
• Service Category 2
• Service 3
• Service 4
• Service 5
• Service 6
• Contact Us
(this method uses the categories and the services to form part of the navigation), or,
• Home
• About Us
• Services
• Service 1
• Service 2
• Service 3
• Service 4
• Service 5
• Service 6
• Contact Us
(this method uses only the services to form part of the navigation), or,
Hope this makes sense..
The whole CMS and front end is built on Laravel.
I look forward to hearing from you on this project.
I need someone able to start immediately as well. I am also looking for a freelancer to work ongoing on this project as there are other tasks I need to implement and bug fixes ongoing.

James.
