Build a Website

Some time ago, I started working on a web-based business. There are already quite a few companies in the field that my business is in. But my approach is very novel and unique. It uses a matchmaking approach that has never been tried before. The site matches different types of people interested in connecting similar to the way that EBay matches buyers and sellers. I spent quite a bit of money and got most of the development done for a site that could be launched. But I had to put the work on hold because I started a new full-time job that required extensive travel. I am now at a stage where I would like to resume work on my idea. By the end of 2014, I want somebody to complete all development of the site along with a very low cost advertising and promotion plan. With very simple and basic instructions, I want to be able to launch my site and promote it to attract the critical mass necessary to make it successful. Below is a summary of most of the development work that needs to be done: - Incorporation of Google Checkout for people to purchase items. - Connection to PayPal so that payments can be made to site users. - Incorporation of AdSense or similar program throughout my site to try and maximize advertising revenue. - QA testing to make sure that the site can support the critical mass needed to make it successful. - Other small tasks to make my site function the way that is detailed in my business plan. The development that has been done so far was using Visual Studio 2008 in .NET Framework 3.5. It also used MVC 1.0 and Enterprise Library 4.0. In addition to the development work and advertising plan, I will need a little bit of help in hiring an off-shore low-cost customer service group. This group will need to be trained to look at submissions at my site to determine if they can actually be posted or not. I can do most of the work in finding the group but I would need help in providing training so they can do the work necessary on my site. The advertising and promotion plan should be as low cost as possible. It should have a detailed timeline and very simple instructions of what needs to be done to bring in all the types of users that are needed to make the site successful. I am willing to pay someone a maximum of $3,000 to have all this work done. This money would be paid in 12 monthly installments of $250 after all the work is complete. To ensure trustworthiness, I will be more than happy to share a resume and my LinkedIn profile with someone who agrees to do this work. After an NDA is signed, I will give the person who takes on this project the code and all the documentation I have created as part of this project. After this work is completed, I would give strong consideration to this person or company to do additional work to maintain the site and make it even more popular. The person or company who takes on this project should have the following qualifications: - Ability to spend at least 10 – 20 hours per week on the project. - Extensive experience in web programming and development in the Microsoft development environment described above. - Significant experience advertising and promoting websites to bring a critical mass of users to a website. - Significant experience using social media to market and promote new websites. - Ability to dedicate two hours per week at one time on nights or weekends to participate in project sync meetings.
