Custom DB to JOOMLA DB import

I have this custom shopping cart, which has products in 14 categories... The 12 Categories are tables, so I have the following 14 tables :
top 5
necklaces
sets
canadian
silver
bracelets
earrings
rings
scarves
handbags
kids
purse
must haves
mens
Each table has the following fields:
ID, Item_Number, Picture, Short_desc, long_desc, A, B, C, D, E, F, G
(a being the item price and b, c, d... being resellers prices)
What I need to do is to import the data contained in this to Joomla VirtueMart.
So, as Virtuemart takes 3 tables to store all the info contained in my one table, we'll have to get creative with the import.
so for the 14 tables, we'll have to :
**bring in the virtuemart table vm_product**
ID --> vm_product.product_id
Item_number --> vm_product.product_sku
picture --> vm_product.pruduct_full_image
short_desc --> vm_product.product_s_desc
long_desc --> vm_product.product_desc
and add to this
vm.product.pruduct_publish = Y
vm.product.product_name = short_desc from my custom DB
**bring in virtuemart table vm_product_price**
price --> [url removed, login to view]
and add
vm.product_price.product_price_id = ID
vm.product_price.product_currency = CAD
**bring in virtuemart talbe vm_product_category_sref**
product_id --> ID
and add
category_ID = one of the 14 categories we're importing
product_list = 1
This should be fairly easy for someone who knows what they are doing.
Don't have a big budget.
