Converting a Forum Database to phpBB

The assignment is to convert the SQL database of an OpenBB 1.0.0 rc2 written in PHP forum which is located here: <[login to view URL]> to a database compatible with a new phpbb 2.0.11 forum written in PHP which is installed here: <[login to view URL]> The work includes writing or obtaining a script that translates the SQL database table formats from the first forum to the new forum including the membership lists and forum posts. You will be free to devise your own methodology to suit provided the database for the old forum remains in tact after completion of the assignment. The old and new forums are on separate hosts and phpmyadmin access will be provided for both forums to enable you to obtain the SQL database contents. FTP access to the new forum will be provided if this is needed and to place any conversion script onto the server if required. Both forums are on Linux platforms running PHP and SQL on subscription hosting services. Do feel free to ask any further questions. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working Forum on our server form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition. Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under UK Copyright law. Buyer will discharge exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased and you will e free to sell the work made in this assignment to thrid parties for the prupose of converting forum databases of the same or similar type. 4) The work done may be distributed freely as 'open source' in keeping with any other UNIX open source projects. ## Platform UNIX, Linux.
