This website will be used to process insurance claims and allow interactions between the claimant who filed the claim and the insurance company who will pay the claim.
For our first step of consideration, we are interested in receiving initial indications of interest from qualified candidates. Please read the attached specs document for full details. AFTER WE HAVE EVALUATED YOUR COMPANY’S FIT FOR OUR PROJECT WE WILL PROVIDE SELECTED CANDIDATES WITH A MORE COMPREHENSIVE SET OF SPECIFICATIONS, USE CASES AND SOME SCREEN SHOTS FROM WHICH YOU CAN SUBMIT A FULLY BINDING BID - OR REQUEST MORE DETAIL OR DEFINITION ON THE PROJECT. WE ARE AVAILABLE FOR THE DURATION OF THIS BID TO ANSWER ANY AND ALL QUESTIONS.
There will be TWO stages in our award process:
1) Evaluation of qualified parties after your submission of interest and any references or background material that will help us to evaluate your qualifications to develop this site.
2) FORMAL BIDDING: AS MENTIONED ABOVE QUALIFIED CANDIDATES WILL RECEIVE A FULL SET OF SPECIFICATIONS FROM WHICH TO PROVIDE A FINAL BIDDING AMOUNT. FOR THIS SECOND STAGE, WE ASSUME A 2-3 WEEK PERIOD FOR EVALUATION OF OUR MATERIALS AND ANY NECESSARY DIALOGUE WITH OUR STAFF TO FURTHER DEFINE SPECIFICATIONS FOR YOU TO RENDER YOUR BID.
Bids will be awarded based upon several criteria including price, technical skill and experience with similar projects, time to completion, and communication aptitude. Please refer to the attached specs document for full details.
PLEASE NOTE: The final specifications will deviate from this application; however processes and use cases will remain relatively consistent.
The deadline for submission of Initial INDICATIONS OF INTEREST is Jan 24th. If you want to participate but feel you would require more time to submit the initial indication of interest, please contact us as soon as possible.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):
a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.
b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.
3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
