Delphi 3D demo program

Coder will develop a Delphi 5 compatible demo app using a DirectX wrapper (or OpenGL if coder can provide a compelling reason to use it). 1. Code will randomly populate a 1 cubic kilometer cube with 1000 spheres. These spheres will vary in size from 1 cm to 10 cm, and will be assigned varying colors. 2. Demo will allow user to "fly" through this cube using the following keyboard assignments: Cursor-Up aim up Cursor-Down aim down Cursor-Left aim left Cursor-Right aim right A move faster (towards center of screen) Z move slower Space stop C copy image to clipboard W show wide view (zoom camera out, showing more of scene) Q show regular view F toggle between full screen and windowed 3. Text will be overlaid at the top left of screen showing the user's continually-updated X, Y, and Z coordinates within the cube in meters, using Arial font. 4. A 50-meter wide bitmap will be on the ground at the center of the cube, painted with contents of the coder's choosing. This will come from a BMP file accompanying the package. Performance must be fast and code must be well-commented and as simple as possible. Wrappers/headers to be used must be freeware or less than $50 total. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
