Create a file of Inventory records: Record Format: Field name Data type Length Part ID char 2 alpha/4 num. Part Descript char 25 Unit Price double 7 (2 dec.) Quantity on Hand int 4 Reorder Point int 4 Reorder Quantity int 4 Reorder Date struct 8(mm/dd/yyyy) Delete Flag int default value 0 The program should: 1.) Define a structure template to hold the above record data. 2.) Read/Validate data coming in from console (Validation file included) 3.) Write valid record to file. 4.) At end of input process print content to a masterfile type of report. Use these methods: 1.) Read from and write data to sequential data files. 2.) Demonstrate the use of structure in data files. 3.) Utilize the fwrite(), fread(), fseek(), and ftell() functions. 4.) Create and access a random file. 5.) Use file functions to update a random file including add a record, delete a record, edit a record, list the file and index the file. There should be a menu for updating records: Inventory Project | Display Menu()- - - - - - Select Choice() | | Add Record,Delete Record,Update Record,List Records,Index File File should be opened as a binary file in w+/r+ mode. Notes: If the quantity on hand is found to be less than the reorder date, the reorder date should be populated with the system date. Structure should be written to the file using fread(). For the purposes of being able to read a file back into memory and check the content of each record, when you have finished creating the file, either rewind it or close it and reopen with an rb++ mode. Read the file one record at a time and print out each field. Only print the date for a record that has the date in it( in other words do not print / / ). I have included the source code for the Validation routine. Be advised it uses a Crtutil.h that I have also included.
