C++ Help Needed (IE Toolbar)

I have developed a toolbar that loads in IE every time IE 5+ starts (like Google toolbar at [login to view URL] or Yahoo Companion at [login to view URL]). It is written in Visual C++ 6.0 (and is not MFC). I will send the existing relevant code to the winning bidder to make it easier to debug my program. Currently, I have the toolbar mostly working. It loads in the browser every time IE starts. I create a drop-down menu when the appropriate down-down button is clicked, and selecting from those menus causes the browser to redirect. But I need the anwsers to five questions: 1) How do I capture what the user types into the search edit box when the user clicks the search button? The ideal functionality would send the browser to a predefined URL: [login to view URL] 2) How do I properly mix Edit text fields and buttons on a single toolbar control? The way I am doing it involves putting the text box on top of a button, which I know is incorrect. 3) How do I mix 3D looking buttons and flat buttons? If you look at the Yahoo Companion, the Search and Sign In buttons look 3D, while the other buttons are flat. 4) How do I add a chevron >> to the right side of the toolbar if it extends past the edge of the browser? Can this be done is Visual C++ 6? 5) Something strange happens. When I click the down-arrow on the drop-down button, the menu appears. I select from the menu choices and the browser redirects me to a new web page. But the drop-down menu does not close. How do I get it to close once a menu choice has been selected? ## Deliverables 1) Answers to all 5 questions with sample code. May just be 5 or 10 lines of code in some instances. 2) Source code will be well-documented. Depends on the complexity of the code of course. 3) That source code will be easily integrated into my current project. (This relates to the quality of the source code in #1 and the quality of the documentation in #2 above.) 4) Agrees that the code created becomes my property. 5) Agrees not to reveal any code sent from me as part of this bid to others (non-disclosure). 6) Will be available to answer additional questions directly relating to this problem by email. ## Deadline information Bidding deadling is Wednesday at 5pm Eastern time.
