We require a desktop security application that can be used to lock-down Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 and XP so that only the allowed application and functions can be used. This should be extremely stable and secure so that users can not bypass or override the restrictions. This program should include a configuration screen which allows the Administrator to specify the restrictions for each user (each user can have different restrictions). It should also allow the Administrator to create User and Group Profiles, so that multiple users can be placed in a Group to have all the restrictions of the group enforced on the User. Main restrictions should include (a full list will be provided as required): 1. Restrict/Allow which applications can be run (including the ability to automatically close application based on the window title). i.e. not just using the RestrictRun and DisallowRun registry keys. 2. Disable the ability to install new software or remove existing software 3. Selectively disable/remove all desktop items, including Start button, Taskbar, My Computer 4. Restrict access to Ctrl+Alt+Delete and other key combinations. 5. The program should not show in the task list, should not be able to be by-passed (holding the SHIFT key during startup), and should not be able to be killed or terminated by the user. 6. Include a range of restrictions for Windows system (we can provide the majority of registry changes). 7. Include a range of restrictions for Internet Explorer, Office, MSN Messenger and other third-party applications (we can provide the majority of registry changes). 8. Should optionally make it impossible for users to load Windows without a valid profile username and password. 9. Include a key logger and monitoring so that the Administrator can optionally monitor which keys, programs and functions are being used by each user. We require that a copyright transfer document is signed by the developer and full rights to the source code.
## Deliverables
1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Installation package that will install the software (in ready-to-run condition) on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) Complete ownership and distribution copyrights to all work purchased.
