Convert C++ program to Java

Basically, I need to convert a C++ program to Java.

I have the C++ code written and working. I need it translated.

The C++ program is a multiple class program that uses inheritance and friend.

Here are the specifications as given.

Translate the following C++ program to a Java application.

* **Background:**

AGM warehouse needs to track its inventory, specifically, they want to track the following

PartName: up to 15 characters;

PartNumber: 10 alphanumeric digits;

Cost: A real number;

Quantity: An integer;

So a class *PartRecord* where the above information of a particular part can be [url removed, login to view] class has a static member *counter* to track how many parts have been added ever.

The warehouse has between 700 and 1000 parts out there. A class *PartCatalog* is defined where all the part records can be stored. Public member functions are defined in *PartCatalog* so those software engineers can easily use the *PartCatalog* to add new parts and to get the product of cost and quantity of a particular part.

Later, the warehouse extended the class *PartCatalog* to *ExtPartCatalog* so that the parts in the catalog can be sorted and printed.

* **Requirements and suggestions:**

1. Your code should also define three classes *PartRecord*, *PartCatalog*, and *ExtPartCatalog*, which provide the same functionalities as those in the C++ code, respectively.

2. Your program should have the same output as the C++ program.

3. You may represent PartNameand PartNumber as *Strings*, though *Strings* in Java have no limit on the number of characters.

## Deliverables

1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.

2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables):

a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment.

b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request.

3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased. (No GPL, GNU, 3rd party components, etc. unless all copyright ramifications are explained AND AGREED TO by the buyer on the site per the coder's Seller Legal Agreement).
