Convert existing asp web site using microsoft access 2000 database - to - php version 4 (generic php) web site using mysql version 4+ backend Scope: ------------------- Site consists of roughly 112 *.asp pages and various include files 43 *.asp pages connect to the database 16 *.asp pages contain - The remainder are post processing or reporting 3 *.asp pages contain email functions 2 *.html pages (Note: These numbers were collected mechanically and may vary slightly) Requirements: ------------------- All site pages must be converted to *.php extension regardless of static or dynamic nature All site links must be replaced to reflect the new .php extension All links to */[login to view URL] files must be replace with a just the directory */ (apache server defaults to [login to view URL]) Existing site integrity and security must be maintained during conversion to php Convert database connections from asp ado+dsn to php+mysql direct connections Conversion of the [login to view URL] file to [login to view URL] is also required, maintaining single point definitions of site parameters such as database host, username and passwords Most of the work can be performed with global search and replace. However, the database calls will need to be reviewed individually. Displayed time and data fields will also need to be formatted before presentation.
