I have downloaded a database backup from a .aspx website which I believe is MSSQL format and I need to convert it to MySQL format for use with a php/mysql website.
I could supply access to the server to install the database onto if needed.
Please explain how you will do this.
There are about 10-15 tables and only some of them have data
The database file that I have is a backup file generated from a Plesk control panel...the host has said this - "This file can be re-imported into and SQL Server running the same version that is running on your hosting account. SQL Server does not produce .sql files and we are unable to provide the .mdf files, as they will likely not work on another server due to the nature of the database file system integrity checking."
Please confirm if you have dealt with this situation before
Database version is MSSQL 2008
