ASP crosstab report with date filter from MS Access query

I have a MS Access DB with several fields but I am only looking to use 3 fields. The three fields are Associate, Category, and Date Entered. I want a cross tab report written in classic [login to view URL] the Associate names in the first row, then Each Category for the columns with a count of each category for each associate. I also want the report to have a date filter where a user can input a start and end date which will filter from the date entered field. I would also like to get a total of all items by both associate and then category. Last requirement I need is to have an export option to MS Excel file. I will try to illustrate below. Start date: End Date: Cat1. Cat2 Cat3 ..... Assoc. Total Associate 1 Associate 2 Associate 3 Cat1total Cat2 Total Cat3 Total All records total A few design request: Have Associate list and Category names in bold Have associate list rows have alterenating color (white/light grey) Have Totals on side and bottom have gold background. * Once approved I will forward the Access DB. * Having something similar I can view will help with my choosing a coder. * Report must be written in classic ASP. I am running Server 2003 with IIS 6.0. I will do the final installation of report on our web server. I will also note the db location in association with the report when developing the report.
