I am looking for a subset of Freshbooks.com. If you can think of how you would want to bill clients and keep track of your expenses, this is what I need.
I need membership, that is for sure. I need to be able to create and manage clients, create and manage invoices and invoice items (service, product, etc), create and manage expenses and their related expense categories.
The user coming to the site, like Freshbooks, should be able to create an account (free or otherwise) and immediately start creating a client and an invoice. Invoices have work associated with the, sending, printing, duplicating and paying.
I do not need to do Estimates or Time tracking right now, maybe never. I do need to be able to get a report of invoices by date, both open and closed and a report of expenses, ordering by category.
In a nutshell, that is what I need. The document will show more detail and will supply screen shots from Freshbooks for reference.
