The standard image upload used by ASP.NET Maker 10.x is based on a single folder. All images are stored in that folder. The generated controls work with this setup but my folder is custom. Once the files are in a custom folder they are NOT “visible“ by the standard out of the box control.
This MICRO project requires the Writing of FOUR Events to improve management of custom image folder creation and file naming. A small number of edits are also required in the ANM10 Generator Template "[url removed, login to view]" to implement the required functionality.
The events will have similar code with slightly different requirements. Only 10-15 lines of code should be needed to implement the required custom functionality. The project is setup and ready to go with generation being fast. It uses an access database to do this. A sample generation and file upload sample video has been supplied to show how ASP.NET Maker 10 works.
I have also included an image based word document with code samples and links to help you better understand how to achieve these goals. The PDF document of the application standard file upload process has also been added. I have also added the ANM10 Custom Server Events and Client Scripts document as a PDF to help understand the implementation of C# code.
