1. Write a web service to calculate numbers of miles per state of a route. Return result in xml or json.
2. Use MAPQuest API, Bing Maps API, Google Maps API or any API and anything (opensource or commercial)
3. Get a from location and to location
4. Calculate total miles per state
Example: San Jose, CA to Fargo, ND (see example: [login to view URL])
CA = 203
NV = 150
ID = 290
MT = 137
WY = 6
MT = 264
ND = 200
5. Allow to have 1 or 2 stops in a route. Let's say start at San Jose, CA, stop at Denver, CO and arrive final destination in Fargo, ND
