Project Description:

· Freelancer shall deliver a fully functional, fully integrated devices within company designed enclosures to Company:

o 3 devices for IPhone (simple version)

o 3 devices for Android (simple version)

· Minimum Hardware for Simple model

o Ingenic Processor/Board

o Memory

o OLED (NKK)

o Touch screen

o Camera

o Bluetooth & BLE

o WiFi

o Speaker

o Mic

o Haptic Actuator

o Accelerometer, Gyroscope

o iPhone Authentication chip

o Battery

o Micro USB port (for charging battery)

· Freelancer can use the Ingenic Newton 2 Plus board as-is and optimize power to make above componens alone consume power and turn off other unused components.

· Test application:

o A android based test application shall be developed to test all the available hardware peripherals and UI interface. This includes:

§ LCD – A QT based test application, to demonstrate QT is working

§ Touchscreen – A console command to read touch screen event and co-ordinates

§ Camera – Test application to capture and display picture.

§ Mic / Speaker – Standard ALSA utilities to record and playback audio

§ BT – Test application for demonstrating BT connection with phone / PC using SPP and phone profile

§ Accelerometer – Test application to read and display accelerometer axis values on console

§ Gyroscope – Test application to read and display gyroscope values on console

§ Magnetometer – Test application to read and display magnetometer values on console

§ Proximity – Test application to read and display output of proximity sensor on console

§ Wi-Fi – Test application to scan and connect to an access point

§ Buttons – Test application to recognize all 5 buttons clicks.

· Freelancer commits to providing Company with devices that strictly confirm to following external dimensions (cannot exceed these dimensions):

o Simple model

· Freelancer shall use a powerful rechargeable battery that would take approx. 2 hours to reach full charge from a low battery. The battery would last for 24 hrs in no-use scenario, 12 hrs in moderate-use scenario and 8 hrs in heavy-use scenario.

· Cost of materials used in device as well as pcb fabrication/assembly cost is borne by Company.

· Duration: 3 1/2 months (with 1 month buffer time).

· Strict confidentiality of project data (including vendors list, materials list, etc) should be maintained before, during and after the project execution

· The device must work without crashes and without memory overruns or processor overruns. The code must be written professionally,with good memory management, processor management, power management and must be stabilized and it must function reliably and operate for extended periods.

Deliverable Tasks:

Hardware

Includes electro-mechanical virtual placement to decide on size/BOM, power management, etc.,

Firmware

Includes building new drivers, APIs, HAL, etc.,

Test application

Enclosure design (based on existing design) + printing with proto-mould or 3d printing.

3 devices for IPhone (simple model)

3 devices for Android (simple model)

Assembling electronics in production enclosures (enabling buttons function, touch function, etc)

Deliverables

· Fully functional, fully integrated devices within company designed enclosures:

o 3 devices for IPhone (simple version)

o 3 devices for Android (simple version)

· Source code (for Simple model)

o OS/Firmware code: Drivers, Linux API, Hardware Accesss Layer (HAL), modified Android OS, etc.,

o Miscellaneous code files.

o Test application code files

· Documentation

o Hardware architecture/design/development/test

o Firmware architecture/design/development/test

o Test Application architecture/design/development/test

· Enclosure Solidworks drawings & related files.

· BOM Virtual Placement drawings (3d files)

· Any other project file requested by Company

· Freelancer-signed Service agreement containing above project details as Statement of Work (Agreement will be provided by Company)

Review and approval:

- Power Analysis reports

- BOM finalization files/data sheets

- Virtual Placement models

- Enclosure model (including Electro-Mechanical drawings)

Milestone 2 (INR 1,00,000)

Review and approval:

- 1 device* (Works with Android Phone)

- 1 device* (Works with IPhone)

* Includes Electro-mechanical packing within enclosure

Milestone 2 (INR 1,00,000)

Review and approval:

- 2 devices* (Works with Android Phone)

- 2 devices* (Works with IPhone)

* Includes (updated) Electro-mechanical packing within enclosure
