Android Notification App with different Sounds and Icons

Summary: an Android app for notification. - The application asks for a server if there is any notification; - Server will return an array (JSON format) with notifications - Each notification has a Type parameter (letters A, B, C...Z) which are configured to play a different sound (or vibration) and display a different icon, or to be ignored. - If the array returned from server has more than one type of notification, all of them must be notified but sound and vibration to be player are for the one with the Smaller Type parameter – that is – if there is 1 Notification with Type ‘E’ and 13 notifications with type ‘L’, the sound to be played is from type ‘E’ but all 14 notifications must be displayed on the screen. - Client keeps notification IDs and, at each requests, sends the last ID received in order for the server to select new notifications greater than ID (which is a timestamp) but not older than certain amount of seconds also passed as parameters. - Client must establish a session with the server through Login/Password - Icons and sounds are configurable in the App (but there are defaults) - When the user clicks a notification, an URL is open in the Browser
