Hi, I'm a Computer Science Master student at the University of Paderborn, Germany, and a part-time freelancer. Currently I am writing a Master Thesis with the Android SDK and I finished a class on Android development, so I have the neccessary knowledge for this project right at hand :) Just to avoid confusion: the name of the project is "android calendar", while the tags contain iPhone as well -- if you do need an iPhone app I sadly am the wrong guy for you. From my understanding the requirement of the project is an app (which will mainly run in the background as a service) which reads event information from an already existing PHP website and provides these events to the normal android calendar app, so that it is fully integrated with the standard android user experience. I will provide you the app as an .apk which can be manually installed on Android phones or - if you prefer - I will make it available in the Play Store.
