Android app developer or/and adviser

Hey guys, I am currently working on an Android app and i kinda need some help. It's kind of big deal for me and i'm willing to invest in this if i can't get it done by my own. First things first. It uses: Google Maps Android API V2 SlidingMenu by Jeremy Fenstein ([login to view URL] Action Bar Sherlock ([login to view URL]) (Also design and design thinking (ux/ui) are done as a result of a brainstorming with a colleague. Just coding left.) Now, the main structure is based on this (i implemented the SlidingMenu library using this tutorial): [login to view URL] (please view the tutorial first, very important) The "MainView" (main screen that pops up when app is launched) is the Google Map itself. Everything works fine, except this. Imagine this scenario: I've just launched the app, the MainView with google map shows. I slide to the right, the menu appears. I select an item, fragment changes (screen changes). Now i want to get back to my map (to do this i added a "Return to map" just for test). When i click that button to return to my map, the map is not displaying, it's invisible sort of. Even if the map object and map fragment are not null (i did a "toast", they are not null, they work fine) and my gps coordinates are showing. So it's like the map is invisible. I have no idea what's wrong. I need a person to help me understand how the fragments are working together in my app, how should i improve the backend. If my backend is kinda messy and fked up, i am willing to change it. So this might be a backend developer job. If you are interested, we can team up and work together on the app. I really want to publish and invest in marketing. If there is anything unclear or left out, don't hesitate to ask.
