The goal of this application is to create a picture manager or browser that provides an interface for visually impaired people in order to provide them of a programmable touch sensation depending on the area in the picture touched by user.
Main tasks of the application will be:
1. Setup activity in order to define the user options.
2. TouchOver Manager activity: that provide the possibility of showing the mobile picture gallery, take a picture, get user's pictures from Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google+, Dropbox, Whatsapp, Line, a given URL, etc.
3. To allow the download of defined package of data to provide programmable vibration, sounds and texts and assign to images in a defined gallery of pictures. The packages should be downloaded upon request from selected servers that should be defined when selected a given package and those packages may be paid by in-app purchase, be free or be included in the own application as a folder structure stored in the phone.
The image manager should read the information on the package that relates every image in the package with vibrations, texts, sounds and other images so when user touch or swipe some image defined areas, the app has to play a sound, show a text and read it by a text to voice conversion and/or open another picture or show an URL or picture when data connection is available.
Mockups and examples will be provided as well as a full specification document for details of implementation of the TouchOver Manager.
