Configure backup Internet link via ADSL

I have a CentOS firewall connecting my office to the Internet through a dedicated link.
I want you to configure a second connection via an ADSL link. The secondary connection must work as backup.
You will write a script that will monitor the Internet connection and switch to the ADSL link if the primary link dies. I also want to be able to use the script to manually switch between the links.
Access to the firewall will be provided via teamviewer.
