Asterisk Freepbx clean install on Debian Squeeze

I have a new install of Debian Squeeze. I have installed Asterisk and mysql but when I try to install freepbx (latest) it does not install properly. The project is to reinstall asterisk and freepbx all latest stable versions (the [url removed, login to view] files should already be on the server) and create a new db for freepbx. I can provide remote access via putty.
