We currently have a server with a Magento install that is receiving approximately 3000 unique visitors a day, 100,000 pageviews a month. We have a basic Apache/MySQL configurational- all sharing a single server that is equipped with 4GB of ram. We need to optimize both Apache and MySQL for better speeds and to properly use the RAM available to us. We need the settings for both setup to properly allocate the ram- we need to be sure we dont run our of ram, but at the same time, we need to use as much of it as possible to get good speeds
Some misc details:
Our server is a linode.
Our magento install uses a full page cache extension for speed.
Our server is running Apache2 on Centos 5.5- 32-bit.
Also, ideally this person would setup log rotate for apache and mysql to better manage our mysql logs- currently they are using a large amount of disk space and we need them rotated properly.

I can help you optimize your server for the best performance, as well as any other system administrative tasks you may have. Thanks for your time! -Rick
I am an expert in MySQL and Apache optimization. We will be sure to run your server at optimized performance for your RAM by using built in caching resources. My latest optimization was for a site getting 1.7 million hits per day. I can get the job done correct and quick.
Well, you can send the log files to a cheaper cloud storage by configuring rsyslog. Also, I would get a data concentrator going by running Nginx on top of Apache. Nginx will manage memory far better than Apache2 and is supreme working together. Also, I believe there is a "latest and greatest" Apache version with better memory usage like Nginx.
