I have 20 years of experience in business consultancy, socioeconomic development works, events and volunteer management with a background in market research for Middle East business consultancy market, setting up financial reporting, resource mobilization, asset management, performance management and total quality management systems. I spearheaded business consultancy projects in the areas of human resource management, customer service, communications, resource generation, mobilization and wealth management, total quality systems in Asia Pacific including Philippines, Malaysia, Thailand, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain and other parts of the Middle East. Al took up Optimizing Productivity of Producers’ Organizations at the Wageningen University and Research Center in Wageningen, Netherlands, Project Management for NGOs at the Ateneo Center for Continuing Education and microfinance courses at the Asian Microfinance Innovation and Development Academy (AMiDA) held in Bali, Indonesia in 2009.
With the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), I managed several start-up programs including the P1Billion shelter assistance fund for informal settler families and the spin-off program for Disaster Response Operations Monitoring and Information Center (DROMIC) beginning 2012 and 2014 respectively. These roles enabled me to oversee, monitor and recommend improvement on disaster response operations including defining the business process, impact assessment and reporting.
