If I understand correctly, you would only need characters designed at this point, not full illustrations for the book. I would very much like to work on this project, as I'm a trained illustrator (I mostly work on children's books and comics), but also a writer, and very interested in various aspects of art for children. I work almost exclusively by hand, so I can offer sketches in pencil, pen, ink, coloured pencil or watercolours/gouache and I would also truly enjoy the process as I always enjoy drawing for children. My portfolio here basically contains my latest commissioned projects (mostly drawings in ink), but I will soon add several recent illustrations for children as well.
