Hello sir, how are you? hope you are doing great!! i have seen the use case diagram but do you have detail specification? regarding a technology stack why ruby on rails? for 200k users if you go with ruby on rails you will have to purchase server farm results in lots of money to invest plus a scalability issue and heavy duty maintenance work.. you can scale horizontally but not vertically(on cloud etc). i suggest we should use GOlang it can easily serve more concurrent users then any other technology thanks to "goroutines". As you are looking to build social platform then i must say we should use noSQL like mongoDB as a Database so that we can easily scale and optimize the DB performance easily. Regarding frontend use angularjs is good, we can do a SPA (single page application) to make an app run smoothly. we have to use caching and security features preventing of xss attacks, CSRF attacks and sql injection. does the site is multilanguage? looking forward to discuss further with you.!
