Hi there. A 3000 word e-book would be easy enough to work with, especially if it doesn't have images. But what you really need for future projects is someone with a trifecta of skills. 1. They need to be good with aesthetics, as that is what gives your e-book the sleek professional look. 2. They need to be good with image editing softwares, as formatting images for e-books can be a little tricky. They need to be in a specific size and format to ensure they look best on the dynamic sizes of e-book readers (they don't look the same on the usual versus the HD versions of Kindle, for example). 3. They need to be good with HTML. This is the trickiest part. Trying to convert an MS Word document directly into e-book formats add so much unwanted code into your e-book that it often confuses the device and produce inconsistent results. This is true especially when the book contains images and TOCs. It's always best to code in HTML, and only then convert it to the Kindle (mobi) format. I can do it all, and I'd love to work on your book. Most recently, I've designed a Createspace and Kindle version for a cookbook (with lots of images!). I had a great time working with the writer, and you can check out his review for the finished products on my freelancer profile. I can also design covers for you at 5000INR each, and smaller graphics at approximately 1000INR (depending on the size and detail required). And for small books, I will proofread them and fix typos for free.
