Build a simple Authority Website (first of several)

Do you really enjoy designing and building websites? Do you enjoy being creative? Are you tired of "taking orders"? Do you wish your employers would give you more freedom to let your creative ideas be used? If you answered yes, then keep reading! We are looking for a creative, independent TEAM to build authority websites on an ongoing basis. IDEALLY, your team will also be able to provide ongoing SEO services. We have many domains and want to build ALL of them out over time. The first authority website on this project: peanut butter cookies. PROJECT OVERVIEW: We will start with "high quality looking" but simple information sites in order to gain a search engine presence and to gain revenues (adsense, [login to view URL], etc). These sites should be designed so that they ALSO look like they could be a website for a specific company or product (and have the flexibility to easily be converted to microsites that look just as great). This means the content on the site must be generic enough to work for any brand/product in that specific niche. For each website: - We will give you the domain name / main topic - From there, you are expected to use your creativity to design something great that can generate income and organically rise up the search engines - You present 3 or more design concepts to us and give a very brief explanation of why the monetization tactics make sense for each - We pick our favorite - You build - We give you the next domain and continue the process Our plan is for all websites to be informational at first. The locations where you put ads must be easily converted to specific company advertisements when we turn it into a microsite (and must be easily converted back to advertising site) - The site must look equally great whether it has populated ads or the specific ads (we can have a conversation about this before the initial project) - Ideally we can figure out a way to have an "on-off" switch so ads for any site can be replaced with a specific creative THAT WILL NOT be blocked by an adblocker (picture replacing an ad with a logo- that simple in some cases) Skills: Ability to build an authority site Ability to visualize a website as a business that can earn money Ability to acquire site content (both text and pictures) - all content must be unique (if it is scraped, it must be altered to be unique content) Ability to identify the best keywords for the website Creativity in the user experience. Give them a reason to come back and/or refer the site to friends. Site requirements: mobile responsive highest quality SEO ** [login to view URL], Twitter Card, Open Graph compliant Size of site - large enough to cover the topic - large enough to target all related keywords (only white hat techniques) Design requirements: Very visually pleasing Pleasurable and intuitive user experience We must be able to easily convert the site to a microsite (and look equally great both ways) ** Must look great on all operating systems and on all size devices (handheld mobile phones to big screen television) Additional requirements: Authority site Strong calls to action Emphasis on user experience Most sites will be informational Newsletter signup to capture lead information Auto-reply email to leads Set up a sales@ email address Tools to track ALL traffic and site demographics ----> When bidding, please bid the cost for the website development of one website ----> Then in the notes, provide samples of your work ----> Also in the notes, let us know if you have a team for the ongoing SEO and how much that will cost on a monthly basis No upfront payments. Milestones will be created for monthly accomplishments. This is ongoing work. If successful, we will continue hiring you for this website and will also hire you for future websites.
