New ecommerce Wordpress website for (<40) UK lighting products General information for the website: We sell ceiling, table, and wall lamps with LED lights Kind of development: New website from scratch Description of requirements/features: We require a Wordpress website developed. There are around 40 different products to be listed. The style must be modern, flat, clean. The site must be fully responsive. We will supply the webhosting, the Wordpress premium theme (but accept your advice on suitable themes). Payment options must be setup including Amazon Pay, and integration with Fulfilled By Amazon (FBA); and Paypal. The front page must include 5 layer-sliders which market the products and company. Sections are to include the Shop as well as customer account management pages, About Us, Contact Us, Terms & Conditions. It should be possible for web visitors to: browse products, select products based on category, price, promotions, and tag. Visitors who do not complete their basket to checkout should be sent an email, where an email address has been obtained, to advise them. Voucher codes should be allowed. Products should display a SALE icon if the price is reduced. Upselling and cross selling of products should be allowed and also defined for the products. Shipping in UK, and Europe should be allowed. Shipping cost should depend upon country destination, and item weight. Integration with Google Analytics is required. A feed from the Instagram account should be shown on the home page. The Search Engine Optimisation should be defined, or the developer should advise and we can get a specialist to perform this activity. Please advise in your proposal if you have specialism in SEO. If you do not answer this questions in your proposal we will ignore your proposal since you won't have read this description. The website developer should define the project tasks, and report status of each by each Friday each week. Any issues should be highlighted in this report. Anything required from us should be advised 48 hours before it is needed ideally, though we will always try to supply this more rapidly. Therefore please consider this in your time planning. All product text will be provided on a Google Sheet. All products images will be provided in high resolution JPG which should be optimised by the web developer for efficient loading. A test performed using [login to view URL] for the website should achieve a Performance score of B or higher with no connection errors, Three email accounts should be setup customers@ (for customers to contact us regarding their order, and for orders to go to), admin@ (for our internal actions) and system@ (for Wordpress functions). Security plugin should be included to block IPs with incorrect logons. A Wordpress backup should be performed twice each day using a plugin (or otherwise) backing up site content, and database(s). A document must provided at completion which shows all the accounts/ passwords, and licences used in the website.
