This project is to complete a website/web application for a certain competitive hobby. I started this several months ago when I was out of work, but have since gotten more work than I can manage myself, so need to farm this one out to someone else. It is vital that it be useable on mobile devices, so I have been building atop Bootstrap.
The selected freelancer will get access to the current code base, the development server, and a Google Drive folder of documentation. The site is about 20-30% complete with respect to functionality. You are welcome to start over from scratch if you wish, or work from my existing code.
The web application will automate the processes of:
1.) Finding and registering for a competition.
2.) Texting competitors to give them a 15 minute warning before their window to compete.
3.) Allowing judges to enter their scores.
4.) Allowing competitors (and, if designated, their parent) to see their scores as they are submitted, and afterwards by going to the site and looking through past competitions.
5.) Allowing teachers to view the scores for their students.
6.) Allow competition hosts to create new competitions.
Completed:
* basic architecture, database schema, workflow, roles
* creating accounts, logging in, recovering passwords, changing password
* creating/editing profile
* adding competitors to your account
* allowing hosts to view a list of judges and judge profiles
To be completed:
* allowing a host to create a competition
* allowing a host to manage/invite judges for a competition
* listing competitions for the competitors
* allowing competitors to register for a competition
* "home page" for each competition listing details and (during/after) results
* "home page" for judges listing up-coming competitions, competitions for which they have been invited to judge with accept/decline buttons
* screen on which judge enters scores during competition
* administrative tool for adding/editing/deleting announcements displayed on the front page
