Designing a new business logo

I'm starting up a computer repair and networking solutions business that is mobile (we come to you). I'm a 20 year old studying IT at uni and this has been a passion for years for me. I already have some customers but want to expand by forming a proper company. Designing my logo is step 1 of 3 (and if i really like a design I might get you to do all three). The latter two being creating a business card and flyer which I can distribute locally. My target market is doesn't include age or gender but from past customers, the ages most of my customers is anywhere from 25-80 years old. The business is based in Sydney, Australia. I want the logo design to be a "cool" innovative minimal/simple design so once I have a card and flyer people will know exactly what I do, how easy my service is and how great customer service is.
