By locally through a self developed interactive tool (needs downloading and uploading files from server) 2. Or if you have access on the server, then it can be done directly/remotely on the server by a server side script (do not need to download and upload files) My price is for 1400$ + 5% freelancer.com charge for the 1000 files and the interactive tool/script. If it is just changing file extension I can write a simple multi threaded application that will change extension properly and very fast. I agree manually changing file extension would be time consuming and unproductive. I can buy registered version of serverlet solution and if does have Cli support I can add that to the software and every will be automized and executed very fast irrespective of the number of files. I have almost 10 years of experience in Windows shell application, and Windows api both the tech needed to do the job
