Create Filemaker report to show daily schedule (Excel template provided) of when which students should come to class.

BACKGROUND: This is a timetable of sorts to record which students should come in at which timeslot. The student info table already exists. TASK: Create a Filemaker layout report loosely based on the Excel template provided. You may need to create tables and fields in order to do this. There are 18 time slots for each day. There start times and durations for the time slots should be [login to view URL] meaning it should exist as a field in a table where the user has the option to change ‘X’ and the report will reflect the changes accordingly. i.e. if time slot 1 is 9am, and duration is 45 minutes, then generate the following on the X axis 0900hr 0945hrs 1030hrs….. On the Y axis, there are 5 student types, let’s call them A, B, C, D, E. For each student type, there should be X number of seats where X should also be a variable. Basically, we are trying to recreate the Excel spreadsheet (attached) in filemaker and allowing for the fact that the number of seats and the duration may change. There is a ‘lunch break’ column in the spreadsheet, that either be a fixed object in the layout or take up additional timeslots and be generated by the report by populated by the value “lunch” instead of a student. I'm open to suggestions on how you want to deal with it. Once that table exists, the user should be able to key in/select from pulldown menu students who exist in the student table and “fill up” the table of which student comes in at what time. There should be a report like this for each day of the week. If variable for number of seats is reduced, for example from 8 seats to 6 seats. But there are already 7 seats taken up by students in that slot, show error message on screen “Number of seats is less than number of students assigned to this slot. Please re-schedule before changing number of seats”. Don't worry too much about prettying up the layouts, as long as it works. I can tweak the layouts later on. Message me if you have questions.
