Communication Tower Modeling and Design

Our task in this project is to create parametric model of a communication tower (Lattice Tower is preferred) and specify the design steps required to check the conformance of this tower to a commonly used design code (TIA-222-G is preferred). We are creating this document for a particular platform ([login to view URL]). You will be provided with the exact formatting of the needed documents. These documents are in XML format. Apply for this project if you have experience in the design of communication towers, or willing to learn quickly at your own time. Please specify which types of communication towers you have designed as per which code. This way we can customize the project based on your experience. Here are the steps you will typically follow in completing this project: Step 1: Identify the parameters needed to define the 3D view of the structure and its conformance for the design code. In general, each parameter represents either a dimension or a property of the structure. For example, height (or in short h) could be the parameter representing the total height of the tower, while ModulusOfElasticity (or in short E) could represent the material property of the steel used. These parameters should be organized into meaningful categories. Step 2: Define the 3D view of the structure based on the parameters identified at Step 1. You will use primitives such as Surfaces, Volumes, Lines (with cross-section profile) to define the 3D view. Information (and support) will be provided on how to define these parametric primitives. Step 3: Define the step by step procedure to check the conformance of the structure to the design code. Design code steps are to be defined as a series of formulas and logical comparisons.
