Breadboard Schematic Design for Buck Converter Circuit

I think UC2573NG4 will be too costly for it. However untill I know exactly what will be the input/out voltages and the current consumption I can not suggest a better DC-DC controller for your needs. Please provide me these details and will give you the best one which will cost less. Thank you... Just a small addition. In case if your current consumption is around 500mA then I feel this will be the right choice for building the DC-DC converter. MC34063APE4. Its one tenth of the price of UC2573.... MC34063A does have better specification

PROTEUS etc ? do you require only the schematic diagram or the pcb layout as well ? please share the details. i can provide you with the schematic design. i shall be looking forward to your valuable reply. thanks
